Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager at Voomi will oversee daily accounting and accounts payable operations, manage a team, and ensure compliance with tax regulations while supporting operational teams through financial reporting.

In Short

• Manage a team of 5-10 offshore resources
• Oversee daily AP operations from supplier set-up to payment
• Lead monthly accounting close process and ensure compliance
• Compile and analyze monthly financial statements
• Support operational teams with financial reporting
• Implement accounting controls for new processes
• Push for automation and streamlining of processes
• Work closely with the VP of Finance
• Drive margin improvements through financial analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA license required
• Experience in retail or manufacturing required
• Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
• Experience in AP preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel and Quickbooks Online
• Excellent organizational skills
• High degree of accuracy and skepticism
• Strong communication skills
