Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and hands-on experience in managing day-to-day financial operations, including payroll.

In Short

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees and contractors.
  • Assist with monthly close process and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile accounts, including payroll-related accounts and tax liabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Complete monthly sales tax reconciliation and oversee sales tax return filing.
  • Oversee invoice collections to ensure timely payments.
  • Provide financial reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in accounting and payroll functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including payroll management.
  • Experience with US payroll processing and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in international payroll is a plus.
