Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

VitalSource is hiring two Senior Software Engineers to contribute to our Engineering team located in Raleigh NC, Chicago IL, Franklin TN, or Boston MA (preferred locations). Applicants outside of these preferred locations will still be considered.

In Short

• Develop and scale applications built on the Cloudflare suite.
• Work independently on new features or issues with guidance.
• Participate in team meetings and provide mentorship.
• Conduct code reviews and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate on cross-team projects.
• Design and document new feature architecture.
• Stay updated on new technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in software development.
• Expertise in JavaScript.
• Proficiency with TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of server-side JavaScript principles.
• Experience with Cloudflare and Cloudflare Workers is a plus.
• Experience with React and Node.js is a plus.
