OEM Sales & Business Development Manager - Remote

Overview

The OEM Sales & Business Development Manager at VPG will focus on growing business at named accounts and developing new accounts aligned with the company's strategic vision.

In Short

• Identify suitable OEM target accounts for business growth.
• Engage with existing customers and develop account plans.
• Present solutions to win new business.
• Support and grow existing business within the territory.
• Maintain knowledge of market region and prospective leads.
• Follow up on leads generated by the sales team.
• Manage development projects across departments.
• Negotiate contracts and manage customer objections.
• Travel as needed to support customer development.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Technical Solution Sales.
• Degree level Technical and Engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience in Weighing/Force Sensing industries desired.
• Proven sales track record to OEM and solution providers.
• Fluent in English and preferably German.
• Ability to handle a varied and pressurized workload.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of technical documents and drawings.
• Above average numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
