• Supervise and mentor the payroll team for accuracy and efficiency.
• Own multi-state payroll cycles ensuring compliance and adherence to deadlines.
• Lead payroll audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports and reconcile accounts.
• Act as the primary point for complex payroll issues.
• Partner with Accounting and Legal for documentation and compliance.
• Champion continuous process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Support key initiatives like system upgrades and vendor transitions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Advanced proficiency in payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday).
• Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for resolving payroll issues.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee data confidentially.
