Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll for over 1,800 employees across Canada.

In Short

• Prepare semi-monthly payroll for all employees.
• Provide high-level service regarding pay discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation for terminating employees.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of payroll functions.
• Participate in projects with Finance and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems.
• Exceptional communication skills required.
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
• Work remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in business or related discipline.
• Current Payroll Manager (PLP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
• Senior level experience in full cycle payroll processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Experience in payroll processing for all Provinces in Canada.
