Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Manager will develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a common understanding of all the transactions impacting payroll. The role will be responsible for employee data maintenance and integrity, maintaining compliance with state and local payroll requirements, and interacting with all levels within the organization.

In Short

• Process payroll information for 5,000+ employees ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain payroll standards and guidelines in compliance with applicable laws.
• Administer payroll system including policy configuration and management.
• Ensure proper taxation and withholding of statutory and voluntary deductions.
• Manage full-cycle payroll adjustments and provide day-to-day support.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for various departments.
• Maintain compliance with tax code setup for employees.
• Communicate payroll policies and resolve payroll-related questions.
• W-2 preparation and year-end process support.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Payroll, Accounting, and HR departments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll administrative experience.
• Knowledge of employee tax compliance.
• Able to operate independently and within a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll processing systems.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• CPP certification preferred.
