Associate Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

Vimeo is seeking an energetic and business-focused Associate Commercial Counsel to support Vimeo’s Legal Team with the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of Vimeo’s agreements with partners and sales-assisted customers. In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and manage multiple priorities concurrently. You will report directly to our Vice President, Associate General Counsel - Commercial.

In Short

• Independently review, draft, revise, interpret, and negotiate a broad range of agreements.
• Work across departments to ensure compliance with contracting policies.
• Respond promptly to approval requests and escalate issues as needed.
• Educate stakeholders on policies and communicate contract risks.
• Maintain and improve contracting policies and procedures.
• Assist in management of Vimeo’s standard terms and templates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a global SaaS enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of commercial contract terms.
• Ability to identify legal risks and present summaries clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner and manage multiple tasks.
• Global privacy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other enterprise quoting tools is preferred.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus.
