Senior Risk Operations Lead / Analyst - Remote

Overview

Vimeo is looking for a Risk Operations Lead / Analyst to join our Payments team. In this role, you will help build operations, product experiences, & establish analytics to protect our platform through investigations and data-driven insights. You’ll audit & review existing product experiences, while contributing to analyzing abnormal signals to help prevent platform abuse across our Self-Serve & OTT business lines.

In Short

• Own Vimeo’s Risk & Fraud strategy and execution across Trust & Safety, Security, Payment fraud prevention, and support escalations.
• Oversee all aspects of fraud monitoring, risk operations, and chargeback management.
• Develop and implement risk management systems to monitor suspicious patterns and mitigate fraud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on emerging risks and security best practices.
• 5+ years of experience in payment or risk compliance operations.
• Background knowledge of the global payment landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in problem-solving and establishing new processes.
• Knowledge of SQL or Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payment or risk compliance operations, with a focus on fraud prevention and management.
• Background knowledge of the global payment landscape, including payment processing and fraud prevention techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in problem-solving to spot trends and react quickly.
• Knowledge of SQL or Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker/Tableau) is a plus.
• Knowledge of fraud vendors and a high-level understanding of their offerings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
