Associate Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an Associate Counsel to join the PAR Legal Team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with 5+ years of experience in data security, privacy, and commercial contracts, gained in both law firm and in-house/corporate settings. The Associate Counsel will play a key role in negotiating technology agreements, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, and supporting cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm and in-house legal role
• Knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
• Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
• Experience supporting technology, SaaS, or retail industries is a plus
