Echo Base is seeking an Associate, Counsel, to join the Echo Base legal team. Echo Base is a private holding company pursuing special situation control investments in the digital assets space. Its global crypto team possesses deep experience in both the scaling of new ventures and the restructuring of complex assets. Echo Base seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across its portfolio companies to drive innovation. Est. 2025.

• Manage complex projects requiring coordination across multiple time zones.
• Assist with global corporate administration and compliance with corporate laws.
• Support M&A transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
• Enhance collaboration through standardized legal frameworks and automated processes.
• Support corporate governance matters and maintain corporate records.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and cybersecurity regulations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for legal spend optimization.
• Draft board resolutions and policies.
• Monitor governance deadlines and filings.
• Strong interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Prior in-house experience at a financial technology company is a plus.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be active and in good standing in one State Bar in the United States.
