Strategy Director - OpenData - Remote

Overview

Veeva Systems is looking for a strategy leader to rebuild the data foundation for the life sciences industry with OpenData, a customer reference data product. This role requires a strong data expert and leader who can navigate the convergence of sales, marketing, products, and services into a cohesive vision for the market.

• Evangelize the value of Veeva OpenData to transform the industry’s data foundation
• Build relationships with executives responsible for data and analytics
• Define and own clear value proposition metrics for different customer segments
• Take responsibility for customer success and run key strategic projects
• Build customer relationships to share back the voice of the customer
• Provide research and analysis for thought leadership content
• Work across teams to drive results
• Support the Veeva OpenData product team
• Travel up to 50%

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience with 3-5 years in technology or management consulting
• Deep expertise in life sciences with a core competency in data strategy
• Strong ownership, drive, and independence
• Strong communication skills with different audiences
• Ability to build relationships with data and analytics leaders
• Good teamwork skills
• Languages in addition to English are a plus
