Overview

As a Presales System Engineer for Kasten by Veeam, you will be accountable to deliver and exceed regional revenue goals by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account-level and regional activities.

In Short

  • Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Kasten’s Data Management Platform.
  • Support pre-sales activities and build technical relationships with customers.
  • Develop and propose solutions that meet technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customers and industry groups.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers.
  • Lead technical sales calls and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Support lead generation activities such as events and webinars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous presales experience.
  • 2+ years of selling a Kubernetes-based product.
  • Proven ability to provide technical recommendations and thought leadership.
  • Sales engineering experience in software sales, DevOps, or Data Protection.
  • Strong hands-on, “can do” approach and desire to own success.
  • Core knowledge of cloud data native architectures and Data Protection.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
