In Short

• Serve as the CMO’s strategic finance partner, supporting MBRs with clear executive narratives on marketing performance, investment trade-offs, and spend-to-pipeline outcomes.
• Own upper-funnel spend planning and governance across channels, including allocation frameworks and scenario planning.
• Lead annual and long-range planning processes for Marketing Finance, consolidating inputs into the marketing budget.
• Define and monitor KPIs, build dashboards, and drive action through insights.
• Drive transparency to marketing ROI by partnering with Marketing Ops and Finance.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reviews for marketing spend.
• Own marketing headcount planning in partnership with Marketing and HR/Finance.
• Establish an investment review process for major marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Ops to improve measurement and ensure traceability from data to KPIs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and/or analytics talent supporting Marketing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or marketing finance within a high-growth B2B organization.
• Strong understanding of marketing and funnel economics.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and governance processes.
• Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling and data synthesis.
• Experience with performance measurement tools and go-to-market systems.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
