The Federal Business Development Manager will focus on growing the Federal Government line of business by engaging with C-Suite and Executive level stakeholders.

In Short

  • Call on C-Suite and Executive level of Federal Government agencies.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for revenue and gross profit.
  • Lead customer interaction efforts with key decision makers.
  • Execute and manage the entire sales cycle.
  • Develop strategies to expand market position for Federal Government Accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives.
  • Utilize Salesforce for accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities.
  • Confidently handle sales negotiations.
  • Create and present persuasive content to C-level executives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in sales to the Federal Government.
  • Understanding of Federal Government contract vehicles.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity services and managed security services.
  • Demonstrated business planning and execution skills.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Comfortable communicating with all organizational levels.
  • Strong competencies in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on audience.
  • Experience with contract negotiation.
  • Technical sourcing and sales experience in cybersecurity.
