Overview

As the Director of the Technical Account Management (TAM) team at UltraViolet Cyber, you will be the primary technical liaison for clients, ensuring the successful delivery of managed detection and response (MDR) and security operations center (SOC) services while fostering long-term relationships.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Partner with Account Manager for ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' environments and cybersecurity needs.
  • Manage service delivery, including onboarding and reporting.
  • Track metrics and KPIs to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for high-quality service delivery.
  • Research and resolve customers’ technical issues.
  • Provide guidance on security best practices and compliance.
  • Advocate for customer needs within the organization.
  • Drive expansion of new services and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Account Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing enterprise clients in a managed services environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with major SIEM platforms.
  • Previous experience at an MSSP or MDR services provider.
