Overview

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a Senior Detection Engineer to join their team, focusing on developing and maintaining detection content to combat cyber threats.

In Short

• Develop and maintain threat detection content on various cybersecurity solutions.
• Proactively identify threats across diverse customer environments.
• Analyze threat intelligence to identify emerging threats.
• Test and validate detection content for effectiveness.
• Leverage intelligence for the development of detection content.
• Prepare reports for senior management on detection effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (GCTI, GCIA, GCIH).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in threat intelligence or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats and detection methodologies.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and XDR technologies.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Proficient in query languages like Lucene, KQL, and SQL.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills.
