Overview

As a Detection Engineer at Strada, you will enhance our organization's ability to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats effectively, leveraging advanced security detection technologies.

In Short

• Design and develop security detections using SIEM and EDR/XDR tools.
• Collaborate with SOC Analysts and Threat Hunters.
• Develop automation to improve threat identification processes.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify detection gaps.
• Tune detection rules through purple team exercises.
• Maintain automation playbooks and scripts.
• Identify gaps in security telemetry.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and detection methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise with SIEM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR tools.
• Strong understanding of cyber threat frameworks.
• Experience writing detection logic using query languages.
• Familiarity with cloud security log sources.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as GCDA, GCIA.
