Overview

As a Packaging Specialist for the Kentucky Territory at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative professionals while focusing on the packaging portfolio of solutions and developing opportunities within various markets.

In Short

• Lead development of new and existing end user customers in the packaging sector.
• Collaborate with the packaging sales team and inside sales resources.
• Determine sales goals and utilize resources to exceed objectives.
• Support relationships with key personnel at multiple levels in the buying process.
• Provide input in the development of growth targets aligned with business plans.
• Requires a valid driver's license and company vehicle for travel.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3 years of field sales experience required.
• Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Strong sales acumen and technical understanding are beneficial.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Three (3) years of field sales experience managing a territory.
• Current, valid driver's license required.
• Master's degree in Business or Sales Development is a plus.
• Ten (10) years of professional field sales experience preferred.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong selling skills and business acumen.
• Ability to use financial data to drive sales.
• Experience in the packaging industry is advantageous.
• Qualified employees of the ISMC will be preferred.
