PAP Specialist - Remote

Overview

The PAP Specialist is responsible for managing patient information, ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines, and providing customer service related to Positive Airway Pressure equipment.

In Short

• Full-service home medical equipment provider.
• Schedule appointments for customers to pick up PAP equipment.
• Explain financial responsibilities to customers.
• Prepare and submit audit paperwork for insurance claims.
• Monitor and manage clients on PAP devices.
• Develop knowledge of HME products and insurance guidelines.
• Participate in team activities and training.
• Collaborate with physician offices and sales staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Complete compliance training as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services.
• Senior level requires two years of work-related experience.
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME or similar environment is preferred.
