PAP Specialist - Remote

Overview

The PAP Specialist at AdaptHealth plays a crucial role in providing home medical equipment services, ensuring patients receive the necessary support and education for proper use of Positive Airway Pressure devices.

In Short

• Full-time position with flexible hours between 8am and 7pm, 7 days a week.
• Responsible for accurate data entry and inventory management.
• Schedule appointments for patients to pick up PAP equipment.
• Explain financial responsibilities and ensure payment processes.
• Prepare and submit audit paperwork for compliance with Medicare and insurance claims.
• Monitor and manage client compliance with PAP devices.
• Develop working knowledge of HME products and insurance guidelines.
• Participate in team activities and training.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Complete assigned compliance training and other educational programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in healthcare administrative or customer service roles.
• Senior level requires two years of experience and one year in a similar role.
• Experience in Medicare certified environments is preferred.
