Overview

The Relationship Manager, Intermediary position at TruStage is focused on developing and enhancing strategic relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue, primarily in the retirement plans sector.

In Short

  • Build and maintain relationships with plan sponsors.
  • Conduct annual plan reviews and understand plan goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention of retirement business.
  • Monitor plan performance and implement creative solutions.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions regarding retirement programs.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time for client meetings.
  • Communicate effectively about retirement solutions.
  • Obtain necessary licenses within 90 days of hire.
  • Work in a face-to-face environment with clients.
  • Participate in customer acquisition deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a sales/service role with retirement products.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical knowledge of retirement plan design options.
  • Possess or obtain relevant licenses (Life Insurance, FINRA).
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Preferred designations: ASPPA, CEBS, ChFC, or CFP.
