In Short

  • Responsible for executing account and territory strategies for assigned broker dealers distributing CUNA Mutual Annuities.
  • Provide strategic support to wholesalers to enhance their efforts of F2F product distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business development with investment advisors.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of designated wholesalers, including setting appointments and developing sales plans.
  • Utilize judgment to allocate financial resources from the business development budget.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with investment advisors.
  • Document field contact through established contact management tools.
  • Provide marketing support for advisors through participation in field schools and training meetings.
  • Develop strong relationships with field management and investment advisory staff.
  • Maintain and build strong product knowledge of CM Annuities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales, marketing or customer service experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of investment and/or insurance products.
  • Demonstrated sales & marketing knowledge of annuities and variable products.
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of office automation tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
