Overview

The Vice President of National Sales for Annuities at TruStage is responsible for leading the sales team and achieving increased sales and market share objectives while contributing to the annuity product line.

In Short

  • Lead the TruStage Financial Annuity sales team.
  • Develop and execute sales plans for annuity products.
  • Manage relationships with broker dealers and Registered Investment Advisors.
  • Hire, coach, and develop the annuity wholesaling team.
  • Participate in strategic management activities.
  • Assist in developing sales tools and materials.
  • Work with vendors for best practices in sales processes.
  • Travel 50-75% of the time for territory management.
  • Contribute to market intelligence and pricing strategies.
  • Report to the Senior Vice President.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services.
  • 5+ years in a managerial role.
  • Life, Health and Variable insurance licensed.
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination and Series 24 or 26, 6 and 63 registrations required.
  • Experience in retail investment products and sales environments.
  • Strong sales & marketing leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage large territories independently.
  • Organizational skills and willingness to travel.
