In Short

• Serve as the lead lawyer advising the servicing and collections teams.
• Engage with product, operations, finance, legal, and compliance teams.
• Provide legal recommendations on key issues and strategy.
• Escalate high-risk issues to senior leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies and improve customer experiences.

Requirements

• J.D. degree with superior academic credentials and state bar membership.
• At least 7 years of experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house.
• Experience in fintech and consumer lending servicing and collections.
• In-depth knowledge of lending, servicing, collections, and consumer protection laws.
• Strong communication skills for providing legal advice.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
