Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a talented legal counsel to work closely with our portfolio companies, funds and management companies, providing ongoing legal advice and support in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

In Short

• Provide legal advice on investment transactions, including deal structuring and term sheets.
• Coordinate and manage the work of external legal counsels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all legal issues to support portfolio companies.
• Draft and negotiate commercial and supplier agreements.
• Advise on employment and equity matters, as well as corporate governance.
• Lead fund formation processes and manage fundraising activities.
• Manage ongoing fund-related legal work.
• Create and manage compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience as a Legal Counsel.
• Strong background in tech-related commercial agreements and software licensing.
• Experience working on fund formation and corporate structuring is a must.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, business, and risk assessment abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Background in finance or accounting is an advantage.
