Director, Strategic Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director, Strategic Finance at Upstart will serve as the primary finance and strategy partner to the Small Dollar Loan leadership team, providing analytical insight, financial rigor, and cross-functional coordination as the business evolves.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with SQL.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Experience in fintech or technology-enabled marketplaces is preferred.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and translate strategy into execution.
• Background in financial modeling and performance management.
• Advanced degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
