Director, Strategic Finance - Remote

Engine is transforming business travel into something personalized, rewarding, and simple. We are looking for a Director of Strategic Finance to shape our capital allocation and commercial economics, influencing how we deploy capital and achieve growth.

In Short

• Lead a team of strategic finance managers and analysts.
• Set financial guardrails for investment decisions.
• Own the economic engine including CAC/LTV and pricing strategy.
• Co-own the narrative with the CFO for executive storytelling.
• Own and evolve high-impact financial models.
• Create review rhythms for accountability across functions.
• 7–10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance or similar fields.
• Demonstrated ownership of capital allocation and investment frameworks.
• Team builder with a track record of developing talent.
• Deep modeling fluency with experience in relevant systems.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years across Strategic Finance, Growth Finance, or similar.
• Experience with GTM and fintech/SaaS exposure.
• Ability to pressure-test assumptions with C-suite executives.
• Experience managing teams and scaling operations.
• Fluency in financial modeling and analytics tools.
