Overview

Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.

In Short

• Responsible for executing and delivering projects for utility clients.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Manage resources, stakeholders, and risks associated with projects.
• Communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Lead cross-functional project teams.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Identify and address project risks and issues.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three to five years of relevant project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
• Proven ability to present complex information effectively.
• Experience working with external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings.
