Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.

In Short

• Develop and execute a product roadmap for Uplight’s Predictive Controls.
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
• Work closely with engineers and data-scientists to design, build, and launch new products.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive customer adoption.
• Collaborate with Implementation and Operations for successful delivery.
• Analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Maintain documentation for the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a product manager or similar role.
• Domain knowledge in demand response and utility industry.
• Familiarity with optimization and data science problems.
• Ability to understand technical design concepts and APIs.
