In Short

  • Collect and post payments, issue receipts.
  • Maintain patient charts and records.
  • Communicate medical records issues effectively.
  • Support patient care activities as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in healthcare.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Computer and keyboard skills.
  • Telephone etiquette skills.
  • CHAA Certification preferred.
