Overview

The Research Technician provides support for research projects within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, focusing on laboratory tasks and assisting with experiments.

In Short

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with two years of laboratory experience.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and sterile techniques.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs and perform physical tasks in a lab environment.
  • Organizational skills for maintaining records and notes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree and prior lab experience with cell culture.
