Research Technician I - Remote

Overview

The Research Technician I supports the laboratory’s research endeavors, performing basic and translational research experiments, maintaining databases, and analyzing data.

In Short

• Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols.
• Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record experimental data accurately.
• Compile and analyze data using statistical methods.
• Assist in data interpretation and presentation.
• Maintain and manage mouse colonies.
• Participate in lab meetings and upkeep.
• Contribute to research findings and reports.
• Work under the direction of Principal Investigators.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Biology preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with common laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
