Overview

The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for an Interim Biopharma Account Manager on a 12-month basis. In this role, you will develop strong, sustainable relationships with your customer base in the Biotech market, utilizing our extensive portfolio of lab consumables and equipment to meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Biotech customers.
  • Utilize internal networks to create beneficial product packages.
  • Manage territory for maximum customer visits.
  • Enhance pipeline of prospects through planning and forecasting.
  • Follow the sales cycle from initial discussion to close.
  • Strong organization skills required.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills needed.
  • Degree in a Science-related subject is a plus.
  • Work hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Position is for 12 months.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Account Manager in selling physical products.
  • Ability to partner with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage various customers.
  • Proactive and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
