Sales Specialist - Life Science - Remote

Overview

The Opportunity Avantor is looking for a dedicated and high-energy Life Science Specialist to maintain and advance our local Life Science sales in workflows related to Genomics, Proteomics, and Cell Biology.

In Short

• Full-time position overseeing operations across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
• Responsible for consultative selling of Avantor's Life Science products.
• Requires regional travel with a base in Colorado or Salt Lake City.
• Education: BS in life science required; advanced degree recommended.
• 0-3 years of sales experience preferred, especially in B2B sales.
• 2-3 years of life science research/lab experience required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills necessary.
• Ability to manage time and territory effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least three days a week.

Requirements

• BS degree in life science area.
• Advanced Scientific Degree (MS or PhD) is highly recommended.
• 0-3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
• 2-3 years of life science research/lab experience required.
• Strong understanding of life science research marketplace.
• Excellent people skills for communication and collaboration.
• Ability to conduct technical conversations with KOLs.
• Independent time and territory management skills.
• Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
