Student Finance Quality Assurance Processor - Remote

Overview

As a Student Finance Quality Assurance Processor, your mission is to maintain compliance across all Student Finance departments during the determination, awarding, disbursement, and return of Federal Student Aid (FSA) funds.

In Short

• Review past-due and expected Title IV funding.
• Ensure that Title IV aid is awarded correctly based on the student’s FSA eligibility.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Regularly check the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
• Communicate compliance requirements to other staff.
• Participate in student recruitment activities.
• Work is supervised and requires a high level of accuracy.
• Desire for growth and professional development.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Entry-level position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Financial Aid experience and/or working knowledge of Title IV Regulations.
• Skills in organization, time management, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
• Computer literacy/basic computer skills.
• Must not have unresolved default status reported on NSLDS.
• Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• 2 years’ experience in the higher education industry (preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office and other business tools.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
