Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for pursuing Branded and Unbranded gasoline and diesel opportunities, growing and maintaining the customer base within Southeast Wisconsin and Northeast Illinois.

  • Pursue branded and unbranded gasoline and diesel opportunities.
  • Build and develop relationships with delivered business customers.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and integrate marketing strategies.
  • Maintain outstanding levels of customer service.
  • Evaluate industry market trends and program changes.
  • Lead successful sales processes and negotiate contracts.
  • Conduct data analyses to measure purchasing volume.
  • Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales.
  • Maintain accurate customer contact files and CRM updates.
  • Support corporate efforts for safety and compliance.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years proven outside sales experience.
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to acquire new business through cold calls.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Self-motivated with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel locally and overnight up to 20% of the time.
