Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing a structured and strategic sales management approach within the Waste Recycling and Sorting sector, primarily focusing on Spain and Portugal.

In Short

  • Manage sales within the Waste Recycling and Sorting sector.
  • Handle investment levels typically ranging from EUR 200,000 to 1,500,000 per order.
  • Oversee area sales budget targets.
  • Develop and collaborate with the global sales team.
  • Represent the company at local and international exhibitions.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across various departments.
  • Support sales initiatives outside Spain and Portugal when necessary.
  • Contribute to the global Recycling Team.
  • Implement company strategy and assist in evaluating new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the waste recycling or processing industry.
  • Proven expertise in selling large capital equipment.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset.
  • Track record in contract negotiation.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, primarily in Spain and Portugal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Passion for the company’s technology.
