Overview

As a Sales Operations Lead at Timescale, you’ll help architect the future of our go-to-market motion, partnering closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and the CRO to shape strategy, drive execution, and maximize impact.

In Short

  • Define and drive sales strategy, including segmentation, coverage, compensation design, and pipeline development.
  • Ensure strategic alignment between PLG-led inbound motion and outbound sales efforts.
  • Drive operational rigor in sales rhythms like forecast reviews and pipeline health checks.
  • Collaborate with Business Insights to interpret data and translate it into tactical improvements.
  • Support capacity planning, quota setting, and territory models.
  • Work closely with RevOps, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for cross-functional coordination.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CRO on sales efficiency and revenue levers.
  • Apply emerging AI technologies to optimize processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Strategic GTM roles in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with PLG motions and consumption-based business models.
  • Expert in Excel and BI platforms, with strong SQL skills.
  • Strategic partner to Sales, with a focus on execution.
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce and GTM metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
