We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Coordinator to join the Logistics team of one of our valued clients. The right candidate will thrive in a remote setting and be responsible for managing the end-to-end freight scheduling and delivery process.

• Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to coordinate schedules.
• Schedule inventory pick-ups from warehouses based on shipping plans.
• Coordinate delivery appointments with retail partners and carriers.
• Manage shipping documentation and track shipments in transit.
• Monitor delivery status and resolve issues like delays and damage claims.
• Handle reverse logistics and manage return shipments.
• Maintain shipment logs and prepare performance reports.
• Act as the main point of contact for freight scheduling updates.
• Proficient in using various software tools for logistics management.
• Work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of freelancing experience.
• 2+ years in freight coordination or logistics support.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Experience with ERP, TMS, and WMS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with U.S.-based logistics operations preferred.
• Understanding of retail distribution and reverse logistics processes.
