In Short

  • The Tier 1 Engineer will have responsibility for remote client support, as well as infrequent onsite support.
  • Heavy interaction with end-users in diverse computing environments.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and strong communication skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a team of engineers.
  • Handle diverse computing environments in a wide cross section of business clients.
  • Perform rapid analysis of workstation level incidents.
  • Utilize appropriate software utilities for customer incident resolution.
  • Monitor the Remote Service Center Service Board for service tickets.
  • Communicate troubleshooting steps clearly to clients.
  • Resolve incidents related to various IT issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4+ years desktop support experience.
  • Knowledge of mobile device configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook configurations.
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel if needed to clients in the Greater Boston area.
