Overview

The Tier 1/2 Engineer will have responsibility for remote client support, as well as infrequent onsite support, including heavy interaction with end-users in diverse computing environments.

In Short

  • Handle diverse computing environments for business clients
  • Analyze and document unfamiliar client/server network environments
  • Perform rapid analysis of workstation level incidents
  • Set client expectations during troubleshooting
  • Utilize software utilities for customer incident resolution
  • Monitor the Remote Service Center Service Board
  • Communicate troubleshooting steps clearly
  • Resolve incidents related to various IT issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • 2-4+ years desktop support experience
  • Knowledge of mobile device configurations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical people
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
