Overview

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) will lead fundraising efforts to ensure The Trevor Project has the financial resources needed to support LGBTQ+ young people in crisis. This role will involve developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing a large team, and collaborating with the Executive Team to enhance the organization's impact.

Requirements

  • Proven success in raising eight-figure fundraising revenue.
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills.
  • Experience in developing effective revenue-generation strategies.
  • Understanding of marketing functions and campaign execution.
  • Ability to manage high-level donor relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with financial data management and reporting.
  • Proven ability to drive projects in complex environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
