Email Associate - Remote

Overview

The Email Associate will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing The Trevor Project’s owned email channel, supporting the organization’s goals across its core program areas—including development, crisis services, research, advocacy, education, and more.

In Short

• Implement email marketing strategy by drafting email copy and creating image assets.
• Execute and optimize multiple email marketing campaigns simultaneously.
• Curate and edit email content for clarity and effectiveness.
• Contribute to campaign planning with strategic email content topics.
• Maintain and nurture mailing lists, including lead generation and retention.
• Track and pull reports on email performance metrics.
• Serve as an internal expert on email marketing execution.
• Demonstrate successful planning and project management skills.
• Work collaboratively with others across departments.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Requirements

• Strong copywriting and editing skills for digital communications.
• Knowledge of current email marketing trends.
• Familiarity with email service providers, especially Mailchimp.
• Comfortable with Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing email segments, automations, and A/B tests.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly across teams.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to LGBTQ+ equity and alignment with The Trevor Project’s mission.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
