Employee Relations Advisor - Remote

Overview

The Employee Relations (ER) Advisor plays a key role in building positive relationships and ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.

In Short

• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of ER matters.
• Ensure compliance at all times with employment legislation, company policy / process and ACAS Code of Practice.
• Manage a number of formal ER cases, including grievance and disciplinary investigations and hearings.
• Support formal and informal conflict management.
• Provide training, coaching and support to managers on relevant ER policy and processes.
• Maintain the case tracker to ensure all cases are being managed in a timely manner.
• Collate data and report on relevant KPI’s.
• Analyse the data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Support with administering case documentation where necessary, including drafting letters and investigation reports.
• Maintain case files in line with confidentiality and GDPR requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in employee relations or HR advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with case management systems.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of GDPR regulations.
