Overview

The Pre-Clearance Environmental Assessment Tool (PEAT) Consultant will refine and finalize a tool to support landmine clearance operators in minimizing environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in environmental assessment and consultancy.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian mine action standards.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in data collection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with participatory mapping techniques.
  • Capability to develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
