Overview

The Project Finance Manager is responsible for the successful planning and execution of projects within the Ukraine programme, focusing on revenue and expenditure management.

In Short

• Develop detailed project budgets in compliance with donor requirements.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with budgetary obligations.
• Prepare reforecasts and financial adjustments as necessary.
• Produce accurate interim and final donor financial reports.
• Process financial transactions and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Support donor audits with necessary documentation.
• Work collaboratively with various departments within the organization.

• Ensure familiarity with local legal frameworks and cultural contexts.
• Provide additional financial reports and plans as required.

Requirements

• Experience in financial planning and management.
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes.
• Ability to prepare detailed financial reports.
• Experience with compliance and monitoring of financial performance.
• Proficiency in financial software, preferably Adaptive Planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to adhere to HALO’s safeguarding policies.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Ukrainian work Visa.
