Overview

Tenable is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Sector Channel Sales Engineer (PS CSE) to join our growing team, focusing on supporting and expanding partnerships within the Federal and broader Public Sector ecosystem.

In Short

  • Engage with partners and customers through demonstrations and consultations.
  • Translate customer goals into tailored security architecture designs.
  • Guide partners through pre-sales designs and post-sales deployments.
  • Act as the primary technical interface between Sales and Public Sector partners.
  • Deliver technical enablement, training, and mentoring to partner sales engineers.
  • Provide recommendations to improve network design and security posture.
  • Maintain thorough records of activities including scopes of work and solutions.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of cybersecurity pre-sales engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Strong experience with Federal agencies or Public Sector integrators.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of security solutions like Cloud Security Posture Management and Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with containerization, DevOps practices, and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with systems administration and security operations.
