Staff Software / Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for ensuring reliability and availability of Tenable cloud products in private cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and resolve data/configuration issues.
• Develop software, tools, and scripts for automating deployment and monitoring of production systems.
• Provide strategic leadership on complex projects.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers on new technologies and solutions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle from requirements to production deployments.
• Look for efficiencies in operations and technology.
• Create and maintain operational documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 production support.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities in infrastructure and containers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen required.
• 6+ years of related SRE experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC technologies.
• 2+ years of compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
• 3+ years deploying public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Strong experience with Agile methodology.
• Proficient in bash scripting and higher-level languages like Python or Node.js.
