Overview

Tempus is seeking a Senior Director, MRD Strategy to lead our Minimal Residual Disease, MRD, sales efforts and help support the strategy across our new MRD sales team.

In Short

  • Lead and drive the MRD sales strategy and efforts across the MRD Clinical Account Executive team.
  • Manage business results, sales activities, and strategic collaborations for the MRD team.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans for MRD sales.
  • Maintain key customer relationships with high-priority accounts.
  • Plan and conduct sales meetings to enhance sales skills.
  • Identify contracting opportunities with key accounts.
  • Oversee the management of Tempus’s CRM solution for the MRD team.
  • Support internal department sales-facing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to hire and develop MCAE’s.
  • Drive sales enablement through CRM and data analytics.

Requirements

  • Deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry.
  • Experience selling Oncology-based tests and services.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing talent.
  • Ability to engage in a consultative selling process.
  • Comfortable selling at the executive level.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in managing financial dynamics of a commercial organization.
  • Frequent travel (~50%) throughout the territory.
